POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Manager will oversee safety, quality, and production within a high-volume commercial laundry facility.
This role partners closely with Executive Management and the Plant Manager to drive operational performance, efficiency, and company growth.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead safety, quality, and production strategy execution
Manage production workflows, staffing, and scheduling
Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Oversee engineering & maintenance functions
Ensure regulatory and safety compliance
Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation
Support business growth initiatives and new opportunities
Oversee hiring, training, and performance management
Maintain vendor relationships and supply chain efficiency
Ensure on-time production and delivery performance

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Leadership in manufacturing or commercial laundry operations
Experience in high-volume production environments
Strong knowledge of plant operations and management practices
Background in continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)
Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements
Proven team leadership and development skills

This role is crucial in overseeing all daily operations of the plant, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling workflow, as well as managing standards, labor, and linen requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Motivating, inspiring, and mentoring the operations team across production, transportation, and administration functions.
- Periodically evaluating staff performance and recommending actions such as promotions, disciplinary measures, and terminations.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of production, plant safety, and workforce management at our state-of-the-art laundry facility serving the hospitality industry.

The ideal candidate will ensure production goals are achieved efficiently, safely, and with the highest levels of quality and employee engagement. This is a key leadership role focused on operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead all plant production operations, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and volume standards.
Prepare, analyze, and maintain reports on operations, key performance indicators (KPIs), payroll, and HR metrics.
Plan, direct, and coordinate departmental activities in line with company goals and customer demands.

Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
